X Factor

More than 8-million people watched the 2014 X Factor final – a musical extravaganza at Wembley Arena – and ER Productions was on hand to bring show-stopping lasers into the frame.

ER Productions first teamed up with the X Factor in 2013 to provide a Lase-Array rig for the entire run of the series, including some high-powered white laser effects for guest artist Lady Gaga’s performance of Venus and Do What You Want With My Body, and the live final at Wembley Arena.

In 2014, the live final – once again at Wembley Arena – had to be even more impressive.  ER Productions was enlisted to add lasers to both contestant and established musicians’ performances, starting with Take That’s show opener.

The pressure is on during a high profile event such as this, however ER Productions programmed effects on-site to remain as responsive as possible, and to reflect the unique nature of each artist.

This resulted in some stunning atmospherics, right up until – and including – the final performance of Something I Need, by the show’s winner, Ben Haenow.
