AUSTRALIAN PINK FLOYD SHOW 2007 European Tour
With the schedule for their DVD shoot to be at the Royal Albert Hall and this being the third year the band have toured lasers, the expectations were high and a real sense of excitement and eagerness was felt around ER's office.
Knowing that lasers were not a new media to the show, ER Productions wanted to deliver something new, fresh and affordable, with an end result rivalling that of the real Floyd show ER Productions did just that! The 2007 show saw a new lighting rig and new laser show and as The Times newspaper has said "one of the best live rock shows you will ever see".
The technical specification of the show was more complex than in previous years but allowed the programmer to incorporate different scanned effects from different projectors at the same time visually giving the audience more.
Two high powered 8 watt green yags, forty diffraction grating mirrors and fibre optics were used to create stunning visuals in venues such ass the MEN, NIA and Royal Albert Hall. Accompanying the Band in Floyd greats such as Comfortably Numb, Run Like Hell and Wish You Were Here the Australian Pink Floyd Show 2007 was a huge success and ER Productions were proud to be part of the Tour.
Keeping in line with ER Productions technical advances all lasers were air cooled and powered by 16 amp single-phase supplies. No water, no huge power requirements, therefore all affordable assets to the show.
We look forward to 2008 where we plan to introduce even more new and exciting ideas.
