Tinchy Stryder Opens MOBOS With a Little Help From ER Productions

5000 fans and MOBO nominees saw the SECC light up for Tinchy's new track ' Your not alone'. ER supplied 6 x 8watt OPS lasers and a 30 rotating defraction mirror package.
Working closely alongside Lighting designer Al Gurdon ER placed 2 of the sytems high up on the upstage truss enableing the laser to be focused onto the runways and B-Stage. The other 4 were placed low terminating high over the crowd. All laser light into audience was metered and inspected by local authorities and was recorded at levels way below the MPE (maximum permissable exposure) ensuring audience safety and the operation of all BBC camera equipment.
4 Viper smoke machines were placed around the Arena giving the lasers the all important atmosphere needed for the opening TV shots.
