ER Productions supplies lasers for Norwegian DJ and songwriter Kygo’s Cloud 9 world tour, which kicked off in San Francisco on the 12th January.
After gaining notoriety with his breakthrough remix of Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire in 2014, Kygo has become something of an internet sensation with his single Firestone amassing 240 million views on YouTube and 350 million plays on Spotify within a month of its release.
With so much attention on the young artist, ER Productions used a selection of cutting edge laser technology consisting of Laserblade and RGB Beamburst lasers as well as full colour, Excellent 21 OPS scanning systems, to create a wow factor on stage.
Operated front-of-house and controlled using Pangolin Beyond software, custom designed content and lasers were precisely programmed during rehearsals to match the mood of each track. Unique 2.1 hazers and Viper deLuxe fog units were strategically placed around the venue to create atmospheric effects and ensure the lasers looked their best!
With safety paramount, all lasers link to ER Production’s custom designed emergency stop system allowing instant shut down of any component laser if necessary.
After a fantastic stint in the USA, ER Productions looks forward to the European leg.
