Italian rock legend Vasco Rossi took to the stage for a sell-out concert series in Rome as part of his KOM016 tour.
With 250,000 fans packed into the Stadio Olimpico over four-nights, ER Productions were thrilled to work with the Italian mega star again. “The atmosphere is electric at Vasco Rossi’s gigs and the high-end production design always incorporates lasers, which makes our involvement such a pleasure”, said Ryan Hagan, co-founder of ER Productions.
ER productions supplied a selection of lasers to compliment the colourful design including Tripans, and Laserblades. With a week of rehearsals in Ligano before the Rome dates, ER’s experienced team were able to choreograph and programme the lasers, ensuring that the hotly anticipated shows looked incredible.
12 Viper deLuxe smoke machines, strategically positioned around the venue, provided all-important atmospheric effects.
“One of the things we love about working with Vasco Rossi’s tour productions is their willingness to embrace our latest laser technology. On VASCO ROSSI KOM011 (2011), we used Lase-Arrays for the first time ever and this year we installed 16 newly launched BB3 laser modules, which were highly effective in a Stadium environment.” Hagan added.
