We want applicants that have experience working in the live events sector, have a willingness to learn and

improve and have brilliant can do attitude. The purpose of the role is for you to learn and to move upwards

in ER into a Show technician position.

You will be working in a fast-paced international business working to tight deadlines and last minute

changes, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:

Either college qualification in live events or event technology / On site experience working in a technical role in live events
Highly organised and able to deal with multiple projects at once
Computer literate
Commitment, committed to getting the job done to the very best of your ability no matter what.
Ability to take the initiative, work alone and lead where others fail to do so. Supports colleges at work, emotionally and socially, enjoys working in a team.
Takes pride in achieving tasks with high level of attention to detail and with the upmost
professionalism

As a trainee show technician your responsibilities will include:

To learn all technical aspects of the show technician role from your pears. Learn by working on
show sites, assisting the de-prep team, assist with preparing and maintaining equipment, keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
Assist the deprep cable team, ensuring all cable is returned to the shelf neat and tidy, tested and ready to use
Assist the deprep laser team ensuring all lasers are tested, power logged and returned to the shelf in full working order
Assist the deprep laser team ensuring all racks are tested, all computers and desks wiped and have the right software versions loaded.
Assist the de-prep laser team ensuring all SFX equipment is tested, complete and clean.
Assist the prep team and show technicians when prepping, help by getting the equipment and cable into the prep bays, assist with building the system so it can be checked during the prep
