DePrepTechnician (Saudi Arabia)​
Purpose of the Role
To ensure that equipment returning from show sites is clean, checked, serviced and data recorded onto ER's booking system so that every piece of equipment and cable is returned to stock and ready to be used in perfect working order as if brand new.
​
You will be working in a fast-paced international business across multiple time zones, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:

Good attention to detail

Ability to take instruction and complete tasks in line with written guidelines

Technically minded
-
Good fine motor skills
-
Must be computer literate and able to navigate online booking systems

Live event industry experience preferred but not essential

Electrical cable experience preferred but not essential

Electronic experience preferred but not essential

Soldering experience required

Operates with urgency

Ability to cope under pressure

Available outside of office hours and willingness to get the job done

Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy equipment.

In addition to these technical skills, you must also have:

Our KSA office is growing and dynamic, and team members are required to perform a wide range of duties. As a De-Prep Technician your responsibilities will include:
-
Test each piece of cable and power distribution on return to ER, ensure that the cable and power distribution is complete, clean and ready to use. Carry out repairs. Log details and quarantine equipment as required.

Test each piece of laser equipment on return to ER, ensure that the equipment is in full working order, clean (external and internal optics) so that the laser is ready to use. Make minor repairs. Log details and quarantine equipment as required. Inform the Regional Manager of any missing kit, report re-occurring faults

Test each piece of SFX equipment on return to ER, ensure that the equipment is in full working order, clean and ready to use. Make minor repairs. Log details and quarantine equipment as required. Inform the Regional Manager of any missing kit, report re-occurring faults.

Test each piece of control equipment on return to ER, ensure that the equipment is in full working order, clean and ready to use. Test faders and control interfaces. Remove and store show files and reset control systems to current software versions. Inform the Regional Manager of any missing kit, report re-occurring faults

Assembly Technician (UK)​​​
Purpose of the Role:
To build and assemble high-quality laser and SFX systems from component level to final product, following internal drawings and documentation.
Ensure all products meet ER/FABERs QC standards and are built to withstand the rigours of touring and fixed installation.
Support the R&D department with prototype builds and contribute to the refinement of assembly processes where needed.
Assist with the daily operation of machines in the fabrication space, and ensuring a tidy workplace.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience assembling electronic and mechanical products
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Strong soldering skills including through-hole and surface mount
• Familiarity with cable assembly, crimping, and connector systems (e.g. Neutrik, D-SUB, PowerCON)
• Confident with workshop hand tools, precision assembly, and basic testing tools
• Computer literate and able to read work instructions via digital platforms and update build records
• Able to work alone or as part of a team, often to tight deadlines
• Experience in mechanical or electrical product assembly, ideally within the entertainment or AV industry
• Experience working to ISO or in-house QA standards with an eye for detail and consistency

As an Assembly Technician your responsibilities will include:
• Assemble laser and SFX systems to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality across all units
• Build mechanical enclosures, wire harnesses, and fit electronic modules to internal documentation
• Perform basic functional testing and quality control during and after assembly
• Support prototype builds for the R&D team when requested
• Work with the wider technical team to improve processes and flag any recurring issues or build errors
• Maintain accurate build logs and ensure workshop tools and materials are kept organised and in good condition

Driver & Warehouse Technician (UK)​​​
​We want applicants that have a willingness to learn and improve and have a brilliant can-do attitude; this role offers opportunities to move upwards within ER into more senior positions.

You will be working in a fast-paced international business working to tight deadlines and last-minute changes, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:

Over 21 years of age with a Full UK Driving Licence

The majority of your role will be as a driver and you will be required to:

Perform driving duties, including making deliveries and collections to client sites, suppliers and other locations across the UK.
When required to work as a Warehouse Technician your responsibilities will include:
​

Ensuring that the warehouse, fluids and pyrotechnics stores, studios, client demo spaces and office grounds are clean, well-organised and maintained.

Basic equipment and property maintenance and repairs, such as to flight cases.
-
On occasions you may be required to help the Prep and De-Prep teams to test, maintain and prepare our laser & SFX fixtures, cables and power distribution equipment

Project Manager (UK & Saudi Arabia)​​​
We want applicants that have experience in the touring and live events industry, including managing people and project management experience. Have a willingness to learn about laser and special effects and have a brilliant can-do attitude. Show Tech experience is a plus!
​
You will be working in a fast-paced international business across multiple time zones, therefore we are looking for the following Skills and Experience:
-
Deep understanding of technical stage and rigging drawings and plots and the ability to interpret and implement
-
In Depth understanding of live event production equipment and its utilisation, ideally have experience with lasers, pyro or special effects equipment.
-
Computer literate, understanding of computer networks and IP address, able to navigate server systems and online booking systems
-
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
-
At least 6 years experience in the live events industry
-
At least 3 years experience in the touring industry within a technical department
-
At least 3 years experience in a project management role within the live events industry
-
A full driving licence

As a Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

Liaising with clients and working with ER’s creative department to work on a variety of jobs like tours or installations.

Create technical plans and provide information for the show event (Vectorworks, AutoCAD or similar)

Creating quotations and negotiate on pricing
-
Manage project budgets and suppliers
-
Create and provide safety information to clients
-
Liaise with ER’s tech team to ensure the event is delivered to the highest standard and meets the clients expectations

Will be required to attend sites occasionally to form client relationships (locally and internationally)

Quarantine Technician (Saudi Arabia)​​​
We are looking for someone with technical and engineering experience who can take responsibility for the repairs of our equipment, supporting our global team to keep our kit available.
​
As a Quarantine Technician your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-
Undertaking the repair of all faulty equipment, ensure no more than 20 items are in quarantine at any one time.
-
Ensure all commonly used spares are stocked at all times so that repairs can be completed in a timely manner
​​
You will be working in a fast-paced international business working across multiple time zones and to tight deadlines and last-minute changes, therefore it is important that you have the following Skills and Experience:
-
Ability to fault find electronics to component level using appropriate testing tools and procedures
-
Ability to solder PCBs utilising through hole and surface mount components
-
2 Years Experience in repairing PCBs down to component level
-
Computer literate and able to use equipment tracking applications and the Microsoft Office suite of software
-
Ability to work alone, or as part of a team, working under pressure to meet set deadlines
-
2 Years Experience in diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, ideally within the entertainment industry, such as moving light servicing
-
Experience with keeping stock/service records up to date on a rental management system or similar software

In addition to these technical skills, you must also have:
