ILDA Awards –
including WINNER of both 2020 Live TV Show & Live Stage Show
ER Productions has brought home an impressive FIVE International Laser Display Association awards at this year’s ILDA Conference.
Founded in 1986, the International Laser Display Association (ILDA) is the world’s leading organisation dedicated to promoting the use of laser projectors in the fields of art, entertainment and education. The ILDA Awards themselves are the Oscars of the laser display industry, honouring companies and individuals from around the world for their hard work and achievements. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s Awards took place virtually over 3 days, with participants viewing from across the globe. ER Productions, launched in 2007 by Marc Webber and Ryan Hagan, were awarded five awards across three categories.
Hagan commented, “After a challenging 2020, taking home five ILDA awards this year really is something to celebrate. We are very proud of our entire ER team who have worked so hard over the past year.”
ER Productions’s ability to produce world-class laser shows was recognised in the Artistic Awards section, which covers virtually all aspects of modern laser displays, from the creation of individual laser graphics to the productions of huge outdoor shows. ER were presented both 1st and 2nd place in the Best Live TV Show category, for the stunning laser design, programming and operation during this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing and The Voice. ER also took home 1st and 2nd place in the Best Live Stage Show category, for the visually spectacular Swedish House Mafia's 'Save The World' Reunion World Tour, and Tame Impala’s mind-blowing headlining set at 2019 Coachella. It was also a proud moment to be awarded 3rd place in the Corporate Show category for their work on BT – Beyond Limits.
Hagan continues, ““We have a long history of producing award-wining work in the Touring & TV industries, and winning First and Second place in both the Live Stage and Live TV Show categories shows our dedication as a company to continue to innovate in these sectors.”
