Andrea Bocelli, Italian opera singer, songwriter and record producer, has been entertaining audiences with his stunning operatic voice since 1993. ER Productions was delighted to join him at the beautiful venue, Arena Di Verona, for an unforgettable evening of opera, music and theatrical performances.
ER Productions headed to the stunning city of Verona, in Italy, with 6 tonnes of equipment and 5 crew, to supply Bocelli’s special evening with lasers and SFX.
La Notte Di Andrea Bocelli, featured choreographed, theatrical opera performances from Bocelli, backed by the Orchestra and Choir of the Arena di Verona Foundation, and appearances from 400 artists, including well-known operatic names: Carla Fracci; Isabel Leonard; Aida Garifullina; Sergei Polunin and Leo Nucci, in full costume.
In total, ER supplied 25 BB4 and 12 Beamburst for the aerial and stage effects, and 4 Storms to map the elegant set, designed by Claudio Santucci.
In addition, 40 Sparkulars were used for the finale moments in both Carmen and La Traviata, and for the finale chorus of Nessun Dorma, from the opera Turandot, 28 Stadium Shots, fired from a Galaxis Wireless Control System, gave an 180-degree explosion of gold confetti, from stage left all around the top tier of the Arena De Verona, back to stage right.
The lasers, SFX and set were complimented by atmospherics from ER’s look solutions products, including 8 Viper deLuxe and 4 Unique Hazers.
