T in the Park & Wireless 2016
ER Productions is thrilled to be touring with electronic music production duo Chase & Status over the summer. The festivities kicked off with two incredible shows at this year’s Wireless and T in the Park.
Working closely with lighting designer, Andy Hurst, ER designed a touring frame for the Cyclone that was easy to transport and rig between tight back to back load-ins.
On the menu were ER’s latest laser innovations, the Cyclone and BB3, which made for electric displays at both events. The Cyclone was positioned centre stage creating a unique effect around the drums. It was flanked by six laser/lighting towers into which the Laserblades and BB3s were rigged, casting their beams across the full width of the stage. With DMX fixtures across the board, Andy had full control of the shows’ programming and operating.
Alex Oita, Laser Technician from ER Productions said, “Andy’s design was cleverly put together. The lights, video and laser-heavy effects worked in harmony, creating a variety of unique looks that couldn’t have been achieved without our new kit.
The BB3s and Cyclone were integrated seamlessly into the performance, so that the Cyclone’s multidirectional beams actually looked like they were part of the drum set-up.”
